Catch Architecture is the upcoming leading Architect in Cambria

At Catch Architecture, we take pride in our deep connection with the unique architectural landscape of Cambria. As experienced architects, we are committed to designing spaces that not only enhance the beauty of this coastal town but also meet the specific needs of our clients. Below, you'll find a selection of projects we've worked on or are currently developing in Cambria.

Wedgewood Residence

This residence is currently under construction, and we began work on it a few years ago. Our clients fell in love with Cambria and were ready to make this their forever and retirement home. Coming from the valley, the coastal weather was a huge draw. This property has extraordinary views out to Fiscilini Ranch and the Pacific Ocea. Maximizing the deck space was a huge driver, as it was one of the most used spaces in the entire home. Our clients were going to be living here fulltime, working bits, and ready to host all of the family. This lead to the design involving reorganizing the downstairs area, which includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, adding approximately 125 square feet to fully utilize the allowable space. Planning a new kitchen was a must to have a warm place for the family to gather.

Hillside Residence

This project, is in the final stages before submitting for a minor use permit. The design includes enlarging the garage into the hillside, adding a family room above, expanding the kitchen to improve the transition to the new space, and creating a walk-in closet in the master bedroom.

Hillcrest Remodel

For this project, we're collaborating directly with a talented local General Contractor, to secure an over-the-counter building permit. The scope of work includes a kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, new siding, and the installation of new doors and windows.

Coastal View Home

Currently in the early design stages, we conducted a feasibility study to explore options for adding height and space. While the building has reached its allowable height and gross structural area, we are focusing on improving the interior spatial flow between levels, enhancing the kitchen and great room areas, and reorganizing the decks to maximize interior space.

Emmons Remodel

This project primarily focused on an interior remodel, including the kitchen, interior stair, and master bedroom. The residence originally featured a split-level entrance. We lowered the entrance to the first floor to make way for a new deck on the second floor, which now captures beautiful ocean views.
